Back to School Features
On a cold fall evening, seven roommates from Cornerstone University can be found inside the door of this home laughing and making fun of each other’s cooking.
After a long day starting at 6:00 am until class gets out at 9:40 pm, Sarah Brower takes time almost daily to catch up on energy at Cornerstones coffee shop.
While taking 22 credits, Brower spends much of her time in class, listening to professors and taking notes.
This year, as a first time commuter, Sarah Brower spends hours on end in Cornerstones Corum, doing homework, catching up with friends and enjoying downtime in between classes. Going back to her room during the day is no longer an option.
On a daily basis, Sarah Brower has 5 minutes to run to her next class, then 20 minutes to drive to her internship, and 25 minutes to rush back to make it in time for her next class. Time is always a concern and issue in her life.
After an intense three years of college, Brower is planning on exiting college this may with a Bachelors degree in Photojournalism.
