Richard Honholt retired from a career in law enforcement eight years ago and has been the Director of Campus Safety at Cornerstone ever since. Honholt and the campus safety team take a proactive approach to keep Cornerstone’s campus safe. “We try to ensure that everything we do is ahead of anything that may happen, rather that behind it.”
Director of Campus Safety, Richard Honholt makes at least one trip around campus during his shift every day. He explains that it’s a good way to stay connected to the community and keep an eye on campus activity. Honholt explains that his rounds are usually incident free. “Normally it’s just a lot of high fives and fist bumps, not a lot of trouble happens on campus.”
